Had Valley Roofing in to replace the guttering on the house — front, back, and around the garage — and the difference is fairly striking once it was done. The old plastic gutters had been sagging and pulling away from the fascia for a couple of years, and I kept putting it off. Glad I didn't leave it any longer.
The crew showed up on the day they said they would, which sounds like a small thing but it isn't. They worked through it in one day, which I wasn't expecting. The new guttering sits flush and level all the way along, properly secured, with the downpipes running clean and tight against the wall. No gaps, no awkward angles at the corners. It looks a good bit neater than what was there before, and the first heavy rain we had after confirmed it's all draining as it should.
Price was fair for the amount of work involved. I got one other quote before going with them and Valley Roofing came in a bit better on cost without having to be pushed on it.
If I'm being straight about it, the one thing I'd mention is that a bit more communication around the start time on the morning would have been handy — I was waiting around for a while before they arrived. Nothing serious, just a heads-up call would have helped.
Otherwise, no complaints. Clean finish, decent value, reliable crowd. Would use them again without hesitation.

A neighbour of mine had a flat roof done two years back by another crowd and it was leaking again within eighteen months. That put me on edge going into this, but a work colleague pointed me toward Barrow valley roofing and the difference in how they approached it was noticeable from the start. Pat quoted me 1,850 euro and that is exactly what I paid, not a cent added on. The finished roof looks solid and the clean-up afterwards was thorough. Early days yet, but based on what I saw compared to my neighbour's experience, I would recommend them without much hesitation.

Quoted 2,400, paid 2,400. The new roof is clean, well-finished, and has held up fine through some heavy rain since. Pat and his lads were on site when they said they would be. Would recommend, with the caveat that you get everything agreed in writing beforehand — standard advice for any trade, nothing specific to these lads.

Previous roofer left us waiting three weeks and still cancelled. Pat was on site within days, tiles sorted, roof left tidy. Night and day difference. Recommended.
