Called Proven Roofing on a Monday after noticing a few tiles had shifted following the wind the previous week. Mike came out Wednesday to have a look. Quote arrived that evening — fair price, nothing unexpected in it. Scheduled for the following Friday. Two lads on site by half eight, done before lunch. Tiles matched well. Guttering was checked while they were up there at no extra charge. Site left clean. Invoice matched the quote exactly. Punctual. Tidy. Priced honestly. Would use again.

Spent a few years in construction myself before moving into project management, so I tend to look at roofing jobs with a fairly critical eye. Had mike and his crew out to replace a flat roof over a rear extension — it was in a bad way, original felt was cracking and the falls were all wrong from the start. They stripped it back fully, re-laid the insulation boards properly, and finished it with a decent torch-on membrane with clean welded seams and correct drainage falls this time around. No shortcuts I could see. The detailing at the upstands and the lead flashing where it meets the back wall was done properly — thats the bit that usually lets a flat roof down in a few years if it isnt right. It's been through some heavy Cork rain since and not a bother. Would have no hesitation recommending Proven Roofing.

Had proven roofing out to fix a leak that had been causing damp in the back bedroom. While they were up there, they spotted that a previous repair had been done wrong — flashing badly sealed around the chimney stack. They sorted it without any fuss, explained what they'd found, and got the whole thing finished in a day. I was on work calls most of the morning and doing the school run by three, so the fact that Mike's crew just got on with it without needing me hovering was exactly what I needed.

In fairness, I'd argue Proven Roofing are about as reliable as you'll find in Cork — wouldnt hesitate to recommend them.
