Dreaded this job for months, honestly kept putting it off. Eventually rang mike in early September, got a quote within a few days — fair price, nothing outrageous. The attic in this house has been dry as a bone since Mike's lads came out. A young fellow called Ciarán did most of the work up top and he was very careful and tidy about it. i don't usually bother leaving reviews but the gutters on the back of the house were long overdue attention and Proven Roofing did a tidy job of them. draining properly now, no more overflow onto the path when it rains. the lads were in and out without any fuss. one small thing — getting a call-back took a day or two, but once they came out it was grand. fair enough.

The gutters on the front and back of the house had been on my list for a couple of years — sagging in places, pulling away from the fascia on the north-facing side, and doing absolutely nothing useful every time we had heavy rain. I finally rang Mike and from the initial call right through to the last bit of tidying up, the whole thing was handled really well. What actually got done: full removal of the old guttering on both elevations, new fascia boards where needed, new uPVC gutters and downpipes fitted throughout, and the existing outlet positions were adjusted slightly to improve the flow. The finish is very clean and consistent — you can see from the ground that everything is properly aligned and the joints are neat. It all drains correctly now, which sounds like a low bar but honestly after years of water sheeting down the render it makes a real difference. The lads who came out were two of them, they were here bang on time, worked steadily through the day, and were considerate enough to let me know before they moved the ladder past the kitchen window where the dog was already eyeing them up. No drama, no mess left behind, downpipes cut cleanly and the old material taken away. I am fairly thorough when it comes to getting work done on the house and I appreciate when a crew just gets on with it without needing to be chased. That was exactly the experience here.
